HWJ Coal (Pty) Ltd is part of the HWJ Group of Companies, an expanding group under the control of Mr HW Joubert and started trading operations in April 1994.
The company’s operational site is situated in the eMalahleni (formerly Witbank) area with its head office operating from Faerie Glen, Pretoria.
Strategy and Vision
Our short term mission is to provide coal of the correct quality and sizing on a timely manner with a high level of professionalism to customers based in South Africa as well as to our neighbouring countries.
The medium- to long term strategy will be to expand our operations to a larger group of customers by ideally acquiring additional sites.
Our vision is to supply numerous customers to ensure that no single customer exceeds one seventh of our gross annual income.
Management
Mr HW Joubert is the sole director of the company, supported by Mrs M Swanepoel and Mr L Baard, being the General Manager of the HWJ Group and the Financial Manager of HWJ Coal (Pty) Ltd respectively.
